Advocate and Founder of NYC Parents of Teens with Disabilities, a 1900 mbr group, testified at the NY City Council Education Hearing that the Fair Student Funding formula is causing NYC public schools to defy their own rules and regulations. She brought evidence of messages from schools as well as training presentation from the district. The prized programs discussed by the district throughout the hearing (Nest, Horizon, AIMS, PATH) are not funded by by the Fair Student Funding formula.
