Highlighted Resource: We Speak NYC

Thanks to the New York City Mayor’s Office of Immigrant Affairs, students and teachers have free access to an engaging and award-winning English Language learning program. Now with two seasons and 20 episodes, the We Speak NYC program offers compelling characters successfully navigating the challenges that many immigrants face. Episodes focus on topics such as health care, education, workers’ rights, financial empowerment and more. Each episode comes with a study guide, short story, conversation activity, and scripts - designed for low to intermediate level students from age 16 to adult.
